  • Martin Rooney

    Martin Rooney

    Martin joined Smith Riches as a partner in 1989, became senior partner in 2007, and is the firm's eighth partner since its inception. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

    Prior to joining the firm Martin worked with Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now part of PricewaterhouseCoopers), qualifying in 1978, and subsequently became a Senior Manager in the UK and a partner in Zambia.

    Martin is experienced in all aspects of accounting and auditing across a broad client base ranging from: multi-million pound industries, professional firms, owner-managed enterprises, through to a wide range of personal tax clients. He also has considerable experience in many aspects of investigative and corporate finance work.

  • Daniel Crawford

    Daniel Crawford

    Daniel joined Smith Riches as a trainee accountant in 1989, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993, and became the ninth Smith Riches partner in 2003. Daniel graduated from Aberdeen University with a degree in classics.

    He is experienced in all aspects of accounting and auditing. His clients include many successful owner managed and professional businesses of varying sizes. He also provides clients advice on tax planning and assistance with tax compliance.

  • Tony Jackson

    Tony Jackson

    Tony has been a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales since 1979. He joined Smith Riches as an articled clerk in 1960, leaving the firm in 1969 to join what is now known as KPMG, and then worked for Hertz Europe in Brussels. In 1975 Tony rejoined Smith Riches as a partner.

    Tony provides specialist tax advice to high net worth individuals, onshore and offshore trusts and assists companies and individuals with their tax affairs.
